Miss Cherry Delight Emerges
From Quarantine With New Single
'THE MONSTER'

The Monster cover

Escaping from months of lockdown in New York City, Cherry is ready to unleash ‘The Monster.’ Her newest single and music video were released Friday October 30th, 2020. With her producer, music partner/lead guitarist, Justin Ethan Mathews, they have created a sound together reminiscent of 80’s and 90’s goth grunge with a modern electronic dark-pop flavor both sweet and terrifying.

She teamed with film director Dylan Mars Greenberg to make the music video for ‘The Monster’, available on YouTube. The single will be available on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, and all major digital music stores.

Speaking about the single, Cherry says:

“This song was heavily inspired by the Monster in Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein, with some of the characters’ most memorable quotes rephrased. The feeling behind this piece centers around the rage from always having your authenticity misinterpreted and rejected. If you’ve been told your whole life you’re “intense” and you feel like you don’t actually belong anywhere, well, Hello. This is your song. Blast it and scream with me. Let your Monster out.”
